I am currently working on three new books:

- A second collection of short sea stories, Further Tales From a Gimbaled Wrist. This collection is still 2 - 3 years away from publication.

- A sequel to The Kapellmeister Conspiracy . In this book, Father Ignaz Karl, Oskar, and Brother Joseph, and others sail for America. They are shipwrecked on the New England coast, and become unwittingly caught up in the comings and goings of privateers and the nasty little quasi-war with France during the late 1790's.

- A book - yet to be titled - based on my
experiences of more than 15 years restoring
and sailing
wooden boats, including my 1951
Richardson cruiser (shown) and 1930
gaff-yawl Privateer. It won't be an instruction
manual, but rather a humorous look at the
highs and lows and crazy absorptive passion
of a love for wooden boats and what it is like
to fix them up in your backyard while
dreaming of taking them to sea.
